How to Set Effective Limits
Without Shame or Punishment

A free workshop for parents of children ages 1-10+

We parents set limits all the time.

Sometimes we set limits to stop our children from doing something we can't allow, like hit their sibling or mess with the dog. And sometimes we set limits because we need them to start doing something, like get shoes on or come to the dinner table.

If our kids responded easily and calmly when we set a limit, parenting would feel so much easier! But that's so often not the case.

If you've ever felt unsure how to respond when your child's behavior goes off track in these moments, you are in good company.

Maybe you struggle with knowing how to stop (or start) the behavior without responding too harshly or with threats, bribes, or punishments.

Or perhaps the opposite is true—that you feel you're being too passive or permissive when it's time to step in.

Most parents struggle at times with how to respond to our kids when things go sideways. And there’s so much messaging out there about how and what we should or shouldn’t do in these moments.

Come to this free workshop to learn about what is really going on when your child goes off track, and what you can do to be truly helpful—without being too harsh or too permissive.

You will leave with simple, powerful, and respectful tools for approaching your child's off-track behaviors with warmth and in a way that is truly effective. And the best news is, these tools are useful for children from 1-10 and beyond.
